We also held an exciting briefing on accessible tourism in our workshop on Tuesday, 16th of June for tourism stakeholders and decision-makers.
A large number of interested parties have heard from Veronika Pataki about the international Peer-AcT Erasmus+ project in 5 countries, where we train fellow consultants with disabilities in the field of accessible tourism. They can later be a huge help to tourism participants in how to truly make tourism accessible and to provide advice and training to people with disabilities on this topic.
Zoltán Raffay reported the results of the international questionnaire survey on the travel habits of people with disabilities,
Tibor Gonda talked about the relationship between tourism and happiness.
In addition to intense interest we received many questions and comments. Thank you for your participation and we hope that experts with disabilities will be able to help our region spread barrier-free tourism as soon as possible!
